About Us
Hey there! I'm Fernando Ávila. I founded Ellyce Wedding Films while my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2019. By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife encouraged me to explore the idea of starting my own wedding video company.
In starting Ellyce Wedding Films, I have doubled down on my mission of telling stories that represent the different facets of our humanity. And weddings are a representation of the kind of love humans are capable of sharing with each other. Weddings are a commitment to love through thick and thin. They are a call to persevere together, to find joy together. It's something to believe in.
So, here we are. Ellyce Wedding Films captures love because we believe in love. And I named my company after the person I love and believe in, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.
There we are on our wedding day doing what we love most - making silly jokes. The photographer that captured this beautiful picture is John Foley.
